Specialized Master's Degree in Industrial and Logistics Project Management

The company's destiny rests on its ability to master its role in the supply chain of its sector of activity and to operate in a "project mode" in order to face its challenges.

The "Supply Chain" is a concept that aims to control the transverse processes of a global system:

  • It transcends the logistical function of the company because it involves a system, or a group of interdependent companies, in order to achieve a final goal.
  • It is the backbone of the implemented complex and evolving system
  • It is structurally based on three transversal flows: physical, information and financial.

The transversal project involves several functions of the company, it is of a structuring nature and changes the organization. For the project manager, it involves managing resources for which he or she is not the line manager. Management in project mode, widely used in English-speaking countries, is becoming more widespread in companies faced to a permanent accumulation of new challenges that represent new cross-functional projects to be managed. 

The program of this diploma, based on more than ten years of experience, responds to these different issues to enable you to acquire the skills needed to manage this type of project.

  • Engineering’s bachelor degree

  • 5-years of study level (Master’s degree - DEA - DESS or equivalent)
  • 4-years of study level with 3 years of professional experience validated by VAP 
 
Academic objectives
The Master's degree trains senior executives to be capable to :
  • Take charge of a "transversal project" with a so-called "project mode" operation, including the design of the Supply Chain.
  • Identify the objectives to be achieved and reformulate them into "problems to be solved".
  • Develop the "project contract", i.e.: targets to be achieved/concepts to be implemented and resources required/timetable for implementation.
  • Negotiate the necessary trade-offs with all stakeholders (General Management, Financial and Functional)
  • To organize the functioning of the project team without hierarchical command.
  • To master the choice of concepts, the realization, deliver and obtain the "discharge".
 
Program’s duration: 
1 year including a 5-months internship in a company 
 
Program’s organization 
The 500 hours of teaching in small groups combine theoretical courses, case studies, team projects and company or site visits. 

Personalized tutoring and strong company involvement are a strong point of our teaching. 

In order to facilitate the training of students in professional activity and to allow work-study in companies, courses are given over 2.5 days at weekends.

Application mission 
An application mission is carried out within a company for 5 months. It must enable the training achievements to be demonstrated by solving an operational problem.

5,500 € for student status + UNIVERSITY registration fees
