Une formation adossée à la recherche

ENIM’s professor-researchers are part of 4 recognized laboratories on research themes ranging from the mechanics of materials to the study of production systems through industrial engineering and the optimization of complex systems.

The research-based nature of engineering programs is a major asset, it allows regular changes in teaching methods and privileged access for our students to the doctoral thesis.

In parallel to their engineering program, students who are willing to continue their path in research and thesis, they can:

  - Prepare a master’s degree in research in the fields of Design, Industrialization and Innovation, through the 5th year scholar career « Research, development and innovation- Innovation and Performance for the Industry 4.0 ».

  - Carry out an end-of-studies project equivalent to one semester of research internship through the 5th year scholar career "Research Development Innovation - Materials and Processes for Industry".

Since 2018, a "Biomechanics" master’s degree in research is offered :

The Biomechanics Master’s degree in research, offered by ENIM, is a typical program of the master’s degree in Mechanics. The description of this typical course is available in the programs catalogue of the University of Lorraine here.

The professional master’s degree in management sciences, logistics’ field

On the other hand, a professional master's degree in Management Sciences - logistics speciality is offered through registration at the ESM.

A European recognition

Registered in the LMD program (Bachelor, Masters, PhD), under the European diploma recognition scheme, the Ecole Supérieure de Management (ESM) and ENIM have been jointly responsible since September 2005 for awarding the Logistics Master's degree validating a student's five years of higher education.

This diploma allows ESM and ENIM to offer any ENIM engineering student in the 5th year of study the possibility of pursuing a degree with European recognition in Logistics. Likewise, ESM offers the same program to any student of a bachelor's degree in 2 years of study (M1 and M2), or of a 4-years of study program in a one year program (M2)

Thus any candidate for this Master's degree in initial or continuing program will be able to lead his or her career with a strong international component on a buoyant field which is that of Global Logistics, also known as Supply Chain.

This European dimension is reflected not only in the completion of 60 ECTS credits, a veritable sesame for all students, but above all in a strong partnership with the Franco-German Institute ISFATES allowing students from Saarbrücken to complete their final year of education in Metz.
