After a baccalaureate+2
ENIs in Brest, Metz, Saint-Etienne and Tarbes organise a joint entrance examination based on the examination of your application file, possibly supplemented by a motivational interview.
Your application file is intended to assess your profile, level and aptitudes. You should fill it in carefully, provide all the requested documents and attach any element of appreciation of your motivations.
Your contact details must be valid throughout the recruitment procedure. Please inform SCRENI of any changes. You can make a single application for 4 schools (9 options).
Who can apply?
To be a candidate for the entrance exam, you must have acquired or be in the process of acquiring 120 ECTS credits (BTS, DUT, CPGE, CUPGE, Licence2 or Licence 3).
You must consult the list of recommended diplomas in order to check that your diploma/training is admissible in each school where you wish to apply.
You can only apply for sections that are compatible with your previous education.
Candidates who have validated the 120 ECTS credits before 2018 do not fulfil the conditions for registration.
For candidates preparing an international degree, see link opposite
Registration fees
- Application to only one school: 80 euros
- Application to two or more schools: 90 euros
- Scholarship holder at the time of registration: free of charge
Approaches
Pre-registration takes place online from January 22nd to March 22nd, 2020 at 5pm.
The constitution of your application file for the 4 schools of the ENI group is done in several stages.
Step 1:
Fill in the form entitled " ADMISSION LEVEL BAC+2 " accessible from " start your application " at the bottom of this page.
A file number will be given to you at the end of the registration process. It is imperative that you keep it until the end of the recruitment procedure.
You will be asked to establish a ranking between the options offered by ENI schools. Please rank your wishes from 1 to 9 without any duplicate (do not use the same number twice).
Step 2:
After validation, print your file (it is also possible to save it for printing later). It is composed of:
- the registration form filled in using the information entered online by the candidate,
- of the dispatch note indicating the documents to be attached to the file,
- the candidate's charter of rights and duties to be completed and signed,
- of the Defence and Citizenship Day Briefing Note,
VERY IMPORTANT: it is imperative that you print or save your application as soon as you have finished typing it in, before closing your browser.
Any attempt to re-register online will be rejected. Any changes must be noted in red pencil on the paper file.
For your application to be examined, you must compile as many files as there are schools requested and an additional file for the Competitions Department. On the other hand, if Metz (ENIM) is among your choices, or if ENIM is your only choice, there is no need to send an additional one.
Example: if you ask for 2 schools (Tarbes and Saint-Etienne) you must fill in 3 files (1 for the competition service of Metz, 1 for Saint-Etienne, 1 for Tarbes).
Step 3:
Payment of the application fees. You can pay either:
- on line by credit card, specifying in the payment reference the file number, as well as the name and surname of the candidate (especially if a third party is paying instead of the candidate). It is imperative to provide proof of online payment when sending the file(s).
- by cheque payable to "l'Agent Comptable de l'Université de Lorraine", indicating on the back of the cheque the surname, first name and file number of the candidate.
Candidates who have received a scholarship from the French government or wards of the Nation are exempted from the application fees upon production of a 2019/2020 proof of payment.
In case of failure or abandonment of the candidate, these fees will not be reimbursed.
Step 4:
Send the files with the required documents and the payment of the application fee in a single envelope within 8 days (strongly recommended for the smooth running of your application) in a plastic bag open on the right to the address below (1 plastic bag per file). The requested documents, unstapled and without paper clips, must be placed in the order indicated on the packing slip.
The cheque must be prominently displayed in the first file.

The application must be sent by 17 April 2020 at the latest (postmark).
If you do not respect this deadline you will lose the benefit of your application and will be considered as having resigned.
Step 5:
Download the evaluation form corresponding to your diploma and have your institution fill it out
You must have this assessment form completed at the institution where you are preparing for or have completed your BAC+2 degree. Attach the transcript of marks for the first semester of the year 2019/2020 (or the one used to fill out the evaluation form if you validated a BAC+2 level before the 2020 session. If you are on the ATS GIC, you must have your evaluation form completed at your current institution).
Some institutions may wish to send the evaluation form directly to SCRENI. In this case, it is your responsibility to ensure that it is received by the deadline. It is also advisable to send ONLY the assessment form to your institution, and not the whole file(s), because of the different deadlines (3 April 2020 at the latest for the file accompanied by the documents mentioned on the sending slip and 15 April 2020 at the latest for the assessment form).
If you have applied to more than one school in the ENI group, please make as many photocopies of the assessment form and the transcript of records as there are schools in the group (on the same principle as the administrative file). Write your file number in the top right-hand corner.
Step 6:
Send the completed evaluation form (and the corresponding transcript of grades) to the following address :

Service Commun de Recrutement Niveau BAC+2 des ENI (SCRENI)
To the attention of Mrs Stéphanie DAP

You have until 30 April 2020 at the latest to send it, postmarked no later than this date. After this deadline, you will be considered to have resigned.
Admission juries
The juries will be scheduled by each ENI in June. The results will be published on the website of each school or sent by post and/or e-mail.
ENI reserves the right to integrate students in the semester corresponding to their achievements.
